There are two methods how you can import records. First, locate the RXR file on your computer. Double-click on the file, Medicalholodeck will start and automatically import the record into the Library.
Or you can click on the '+' icon on the left side of the Library. Use file explorer to navigate to your data. Select the file or the whole folder by clicking on it, and then click the 'Select' button at the bottom.
Medicalholodeck will analyze the folder and display the records for review. You can select and import multiple records at once.
Then click the 'Import' button at the bottom. This will load your record into the Library, from where you can start it.
Important! Medicalholodeck on Quest 2 (standalone VR) only supports Dissection Master XR datasets.
To import the RXR file, launch Medicalholodeck and click the '+' icon on the left side of the Library. This will activate the file upload function. Next, go to the 'Cloud' tab and note your 6-digit device ID, you will need it for connecting your VR headset to your computer. Please note that 3D DICOM are not supported on Quest 2 in standalone mode. To use records with 3D Dicom, please tether your Quest to a computer or use Medicalholodeck’s Cloud Rendering service.
Open a web browser on your computer, navigate to www.medicalholodeck.com/link, and add your headset’s device ID from the previous step. Then select 'Upload' from the menu. An upload box will appear, ready to receive the records. Drag and drop the files onto the upload box. Wait until upload is finished.
After that put on your VR headset. In Medicalholodeck, select the records you want to add to your Library and click the 'Import' button at the bottom. This will load your chosen records to the Library, from where you can start them.
To import Records within our cloud rendering service, click the '+' icon on the top left of the Library. This will activate the file upload function. Next, go to the 'Cloud' tab at the top and note your 6-digit device ID. You will need it for connecting your VR headset to your computer.
